Position: Director of Identity and Access Management
Reports To: VP Operations Services
Location: Winston-Salem, NC

Position Summary:

The Director of Identity and Access Management has responsibility for identifying tools, technologies, teams, and identity services. Leveraging leading technologies, the Director will work collaboratively across the enterprise to integrate identity management solutions that improve our security posture while equally improving the end user experience. The Director of Identity and Access Management will focus on innovative and automated solutions to meet and exceed strict regulatory compliance requirements. Working with IT and IS leaders, this leader will drive seamless integration into all of our critical business services while simplifying the authentication processes.

Qualifications Required:

  • 5+ Years’ experience with identity access management strategies such as; Single Sign On, Multifactor Authentication, Privileged Account Management, password vaulting, role-based access and Just-in-time provisioning 
  • 5+ Years’ in a leadership position
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field with minimum of 5 years of experience
  • Experience maintaining access control system to meet PCI-DSS-TSP compliance requirements
  • Broad knowledge in authentication systems, risk analysis, threat mitigation, and security domains
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • CISSP Certification 
  • Experience in creating and maintaining formal program documentation centering around Identity Access Management
  • Must be process driven, detail oriented and organized in both thought and practice 
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure firm policies and procedures are adhered to and regulatory requirements are met
  • Must have excellent verbal and written skills and be comfortable presenting ideas and issues to different levels within and outside of the organization, to include; executive leadership, auditors, governance committees, etc.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Must have a demonstrated track-record for building and leading exceptional teams through collaboration, mentoring, skill training and transition of technologies and processes as technologies and compliance requirements evolve

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Develop a strategy for Identity and Access Management while ensuring scalability, resilience and superb end user experience
  • Deliver a role-based access solution to the enterprise from design through implementation
  • Own the identity management policies and processes, maintaining applicable compliance across our business segments (i.e. PCI, SOC, GLBA)
  • Work across IS and IT teams to deliver IAM best practices for on premise and cloud based solutions for employees, contractors, vendors and customers
  • Document technical solutions, strategies, role inventories, recommendations and key metrics associated with the Identity and Access management program
  • Facilitate business process design as it relates to managing identities and access privileges such as architecture, delegated administration models, workflow models and access control models
