Vendor Management Analyst

Position: Vendor Management Analyst
Reports To: Director, Vendor Management
Location: New York, NY

Position Summary:

The Vendor Management Analyst is responsible for ensuring TCH effectively identifies and manages vendor related risks. The VM Analyst will assist with the execution of the vendor risk management life cycle to include planning, due diligence, ongoing monitoring, and termination. The role contributes toward the on-going improvement of TCH vendor management practices.  The Analyst must develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders throughout the organization in order to work across all functions - Information Security, Legal, Enterprise Risk Management, Technology and Operations, and other business functions.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 1-2 years of experience in working in the financial services industry
  • Strong technical and PC skills, e.g. Excel, Access and PowerPoint
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Build consensus and resolve conflicts, demonstrate good judgment
  • Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment

Qualifications Desired:

  • Prior vendor or risk management experience in the Banking/Finance industry or other similar function
  • Prior experience with GRC tools, ex. Archer
  • Prior experience with communicating effectively with various audiences at all levels of the organization, including senior leadership

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Manage reporting of vendor program related information
  • Manage vendor related data within GRC tool
  • Onboarding and off-boarding of vendors
  • Collect and review supporting documentation for potential and existing third parties
  • Monitor vendor performance against SLA’s and other requirements
  • Respond to vendor management requests from TCH external customers
  • Conduct vendor risk assessments for TCH vendors
  • Develop strong understanding of business processes impacting the vendor management function

Performance Standards:

  • Annual IPP and attain goals established between supervisor and incumbent

  • Physical demands – While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required walk; sit; use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk wand hear; Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds;  Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
  • Work environment – The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
