March 13th of 2022 will mark two years since the world declared COVID-19 a pandemic and most of us packed up our desk and headed home. I kept thinking how about the business continuity and contingency planning training we have presented over the years. Countless times we delivered the words “pandemic” and “prepare” in the same sentence because the show must go on. And to say I am proud is an understatement. Proud of you, our member banks and credit unions, who continued to handle daily payments processing in spite of some significant hurdles. Seems so long ago you were calling for guidance on stimulus payments, fraudulent unemployment payments and PPP loans. And proud of the team here at TCHPA, who have truly proved their role as your trusted advisors, educators and go-to experts.
Most of you have established personal resolutions for the New Year and identified key priorities for your organization too. I’d like to share a few of my goals for the year and invite you to consider the same: Be Present. Lean in. Learn more. Listen more. Talk less. I guarantee you, and those around you (personally and professionally), will benefit. Welcome to 2022. Let’s do this!
