The Accredited Payments Risk Professionals (APRP) designation is designed to recognize and build payments risk expertise among payments professionals. Having an APRP on staff promotes the credibility of your team by enhancing knowledge of payments-related risk. This includes ACH, card, check, wire transfer, instant payments, as well as emerging payments and trends.
This program is for those who are sitting for the 2026 APRP Exam. This is an intensive 7-week study program. It's strongly recommended that the student have at least 2+ years of payments risk experience. Through a series of assigned on-demand webinars, interactive live webinars, exercises and quizzes, this program will help you prepare to sit for the 2026 APRP Exam (exam window from August 3-29, 2026. Visit Nacha's website for more information and to register for the exam). An estimated 8-10+ hours per week of personal time is needed for success. Attendees are encouraged to form study groups in addition to participating in TCHPA's course.
Registration for this series closes on March 31, 2026. After registration has closed, the registrants will receive a series study plan that will detail out on-demand webinars, live webinars, as well as reading and homework assignments. Most of the study material comes from FFIEC's IT Handbooks and attendees are encouraged to start reading these handbooks early as part of their self-study program. Participants must visit the Nacha website and register for the exam before the series starts as we will be referencing their ARPR Handbook throughout this course.
Generally, live session will be scheduled on Tuesdays, from 2:00 - 3:30 P.M. Schedule days and live webinars are subject to change.
