TCH Welcomes Public Comments on Guiding Principles on Control Function Compensation
The Clearing House Association released guiding principles in exposure draft format in an effort to assist banks in structuring and administering the compensation of risk-management and control function personnel (“Control Function Personnel”). The exposure draft, Guiding Principles for Compensation Practices for Risk-Management and Control Function Personnel at Banking Organizations, highlights important elements that could help guide institutions in developing compensation structures for Control Function Personnel, while also recognizing that the specific compensation practices of each bank will necessarily differ based on its own particular circumstances. Comments can be submitted no later than December 31, 2014 at comments@theclearinghouse.org.
