Position: Sr. Manager, IAM Engineering
Reports To: VP, IAM Operations
Location: Winston-Salem, NC

Position Summary:

The Senior Manager for IAM Engineering will be responsible for all aspects of the product management, strategy and technical expertise related to platform authentication, authorization, access control, security, and networking. The Senior Manager for IAM works closely with internal and external stakeholders, including engineering, platform operations, business teams, partners, customers, and InfoSec to ensure the design, development and deployment of security solutions that enforce applicable organization and industry security policies and access management requirements.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field preferred
  • 8+ years of relevant Security Engineering and/or Identity and Access Management experience
  • 5+ years of experience with enterprise Identity Management solutions, such as SailPoint, CyberArk and SSO
  • 5+ years of experience with multiple authentication and authorization solutions and directory platforms
  • 3+ years of experience with privilege management solutions
  • Experience with directory services, such as Active Directory (AD), Oracle Universal Directory (OUD), or LDAP directories in general
  • Extensive knowledge in SailPoint design and deployment activities: application connector setup, custom rule development, workflow configuration and development, third party system integration 
  • Extensive experience in application license management via SailPoint integration and workflows
  • Excellent understanding of authentication, authorization, role-based access, least privilege and segregation of duties access control concepts
  • Proven experience leading the troubleshooting and solving issues related to identities, access, accounts, authentication, authorization, entitlements, and permissions
  • Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills; must be able to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and nonā€technical audiences
  • Proven track record of successful IAM implementations and support of those applications
  • Strong decision-making capabilities, with a proven ability to weigh the relative costs and benefits of potential actions and identify the most appropriate actions
  • Thorough, detail-oriented and quality-driven with excellent communication and inter-personal skills relevant industry training and/or certification preferred
  • Able to deliver quality results in a high-energy/high-pressure environment
  • Ability to multi-task and manage demands of many projects, issues, and tasks
  • Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision

Qualifications Desired:

  • ITIL 4 Certification
  • CIAM Certification (Certified Identity Access Manager)
  • CISSP Certification (Certified Information Security Systems Professional)
  • Work effectively work with internal and external customers, vendors and employees
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle conflicting priorities
  • Excellent time managements skills
  • Experience with TCH technologies
  • Strong background and experience in SailPoint, CyberArk, AWS, Active Directory etc. 
  • Applied knowledge of operational processes and industry best practices
  • Applied knowledge of developing/redesigning processes and measuring effectiveness and efficiency 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Working with internal stakeholders across numerous technical functions, develop a technical roadmap for core enterprise IAM solutions
  • Operate as the senior most subject matter expert for SailPoint, CyberArk and SSO
  • Responsible for complex program design, testing, debugging and documentation
  • Ensure user experience considerations are incorporated into the program design and delivered solution
  • Provide recommendations on IAM and PKI best practices and help establish the centralized IAM service function to support FactSet's internal user base
  • Lead the proof of concept, product selection and deployment of IAM and PKI related solutions
  • Identify areas of technical consolidation as well as IAM governance requirements for non-centralized functions
  • Provide escalated administrative support for IAM systems and collaborate with peer groups to help them take full advantage of the latest authentication and authorization protocols
  • Partner with and ultimately manage the relationship with key technical vendors to deliver IAM capabilities and services
  • Manage, guide and mentor the junior resources in the team for successful implementation of access controls using IAM Governance tools
  • Support the hiring and onboarding of junior IAM personnel as the function grows

Performance Standards:

Performance is evaluated twice per year through a mid-year review and an annual review.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require standing and walking. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.
