Position: Assistant Corporate Security Manager
Reports To: Security Operations Manager
Location: Winston-Salem, NC

Position Summary:

Performs a wide variety of analytical and managerial tasks to ensure success within the Corporate Security Team, compliance support, as well as threat mitigation. Supervises day to day security operations for second shift teams assigned by security management.

Qualifications Required:

  • 5+ years of demonstrable experience leading hands-on threat analysis and hands-on security incident response as well as associated applications
  • Must be able to effectively manage a small team of 6 or more employees 
  • In-depth understanding of threat analysis and management as well as security incident response protocols
  • Experience evaluating risk and threats that range from socio-political instability, exposure to diseases, natural disasters, etc.
  • Ensures security vulnerabilities faced by corporate travelers are effectively communicated and addressed in a timely, meaningful, and accurate manner
  • Excellent reasoning and problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills geared toward completion of tasks while continuously developing themselves and the talent within their team
  • Ability to consistently apply sound judgment and maturity to build and maintain successful professional partnerships
  • Ability to adapt to a hyper-growth pace and changing priorities
  • Must be able to efficiently communicate information for analytical, operational, managerial
  • 5+ years of experience utilizing or managing automated access control, visitor management, and video surveillance applications
  • Proficient and/or hold certifications related to the operation of Windows based programs as well as demonstrate the ability to create enterprise level communication documents
  • Ability to conduct detailed analysis of technical and non-technical mitigation measures, risks, threats, define residual risk, develop a risk registry, and determine risk tolerance

Qualifications Desired:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a course of study beneficial to corporate entities or corporate security
  • Military and/or Law Enforcement service
  • Superior knowledge of common break/fix tasks related to computer operation and maintenance of security related applications   

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled analysis, reporting, and lead security efforts for Hiring/Termination process, visitor enrollment and management, threat-based assessments for corporate travel, compose and distribute emergency based communication as well as supervise day to day operations for assigned members of a corporate security operations team for the TCH Enterprise to include sites across the east coast
  • Monitor, evaluate, analyze, document, and report weekly performance summaries of the TCH Security Team for the TCH Enterprise to the Corporate Security Operations Manager
  • Ensure each member meets or exceeds minimum requirements however if deficiencies are found, will report findings to Corporate Security Operations Manager in a timely manner
  • Assist in the evaluation of performance standards for security officers, conduct investigations, and may recommend documentation of performance related anomalies
  • Assist with audit processes and assist with providing audit documentation as requested by the Corporate Security Operations Manager
  • Will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and formulating data retrieved from current operating systems to present to the Corporate Security Operations Manager for review and approval

  • Must be able to accurately complete and review enterprise reports and process; report results in a timely manner
  • Ensure all key management personnel are aware of incidents and potential threats

  • Ensure daily minimum staffing levels are maintained

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Sitting, walking, and the ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs
