CREM Business Intelligence Specialist

Position: CREM Business Intelligence Specialist
Reports To: Manager, CREM Compliance
Location: Winston-Salem, NC

Position Summary:

Works closely with and supports the Manager of CREM Compliance. Collaborates in all assigned CREM programs, policies, and procedures to review, analyze, assess, and recommend enhancements and /or solutions for the department. Works with department to improve and support their individual responsibilities, team interactions within CREM, and overall obligations to the corporation. Administrate department’s self-audit/governance program to propose and ensure best practices and compliance with documented policies and procedures. Assist in the facilitation of a robust office planning portfolio to include asset tracking and office hoteling inventories. 

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s college degree with focus in business analytics, business communications, business administration or like discipline.
  • 3-5 years of intense written communications focus and documentation management, preferably with formal technical writing/editing training
  • 3-5 years of experience documenting business performance metrics
  • Ability to interpret abstract and complex business requests and analyze based on aggressive timelines

  • Experience Asset life cycle management (whether digital technology, information, financial or physical assets)
  • Supports CREM management (internal, external, and self-audits) to demonstrate compliance and assist in the recommendation of how to manage agreements.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple work assignments simultaneously with little direction
  • Excellent problem identification and resolution/improvement skills, excellent written and oral communication skills for general business and technical data
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Outlook 365), and ability to quickly learn other software tools
  • Professional demeanor and effective team skills to work effectively with staff at all levels within the organization
  • Ability to work under deadline in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications Desired:

  • Exposure or knowledge of access control methodologies, enterprise risk management knowledge/reporting, metrics reporting, ability to self-identify departmental findings/issues, database reporting, office planning tools, asset management/destruction tools, work order management systems, and tools for transferring and archiving data
  • Identifying the underlying principles, reasons, or facts of information by departmentalizing the parts of each.
  • Making decisions by analyzing information and evaluating results to best solve problems
  • Developing objectives and strategies, establishing long range objectives, and specifying the strategies and actions to achieve them
  • Experience in an engineering or operations/maintenance environment
  • Knowledge and/or ability to quickly assimilate information related to physical security, facilities engineering and operations/maintenance
  • Ability to take initiative and prioritize workload
  • Able to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Self-motivated, well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task
  • Collaborative team player that connects across multidiscipline groups with proven ability to influence stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience using Asset Tagging/ Barcoding and or Inventory management software applications (i.e., asset Vue, Panatracks)
  • Experience with agile development methodologies

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Synthesize current business intelligence or trend data to support recommendations for action
  • Disseminate information regarding tools, reports, dashboards, or metadata enhancements
  • Risk management reporting in Archer
  • Research issues and facts with input from SME’s and from written sources, applying appropriate standards of diligence in gathering and vetting data
  • Ability to interpret abstract and complex business requests and analyze based on aggressive timelines
  • Expose current and future problems and identify and implement improvements and/or solutions. Propose, write, edit, and publish departmental policy and procedure deliverables in conjunction with SME’s
  • Participate in self-audit to ensure compliance with TCH policies, procedures, and general work practices
  • Assist in the compiling, tracking, and cataloging of company assets using a Panatracks reporting application
  • Assist in training and awareness programs; forge project-based ad hoc teams within CREM
  • Participate in search for new programs, tools, and processes to improve CREM service and operations
  • Assist in developing presentations; assist in maintaining pages on the Intranet and work on ad hoc projects as required

Performance Standards:

  • Performance is evaluated twice per year through a mid-year review and an annual review

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require standing and walking. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.
