Director, EPN Product Management

Position: Director, EPN Product Management
Reports To: SVP EPN Product Management
Location: New York, NY or Winston-Salem, NC

Position Summary:

The role crosses a broad spectrum of responsibilities in product management, risk management, project management and works closely with TCH operations and technical departments as well as legal to ensure proper management of the EPN product offerings. Ensure EPN remains viable and sustainable via strong product disciplines, documented processes, analysis, and dialogue with participants, support of customer relationship management efforts and enhanced product features and functions. Work with enterprise risk management and vendor management regarding internal and external requests.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or comparable specific work experience)
  • 5+ years of project management, product management, risk management and/or customer relationship experience in the financial services industry
  • Strong presentation skills for both internal and external (bank, end user and industry) audiences
  • Knowledge of ACH including formats and Nacha Rules
  • Good project management skills and understanding of the payment industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Collaborative team player, able to work cross-functionally and independently. Good time management skills
  • Prefer AAP and APRP Certifications
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work both individually and as part of a team

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Reports directly to and assist the Sr Vice President of Product Management in establishing, coordinating and reporting on TCH department activities as it pertains to EPN
  • Assist in the preparation of and develop supporting materials for Quarterly EPN Business Committee meetings
  • Serve as an internal and external subject matter expert on ACH functionality
  • Work on EPN Product Assessments as needed
  • Retrieve and analyze EPN related data in support of product assessments 
  • Support Core ACH functions, as well as supporting and analyzing Value Added services
  • Assist in developing business requirements for new product enhancements
  • Assist in developing and maintaining product documentation, policies and procedures and ensure they are current
  • Represent the voice of the customer, and the voice of the product at project meetings internal and external as needed
  • Think strategically, react tactically
  • Attend industry meetings and conference as needed
  • Maintain and create risk profiles 
  • Work effectively in a highly technical and secure business environment
  • Prioritize work efforts in consideration of the EPN strategic direction
  • Keeping current with EPN product project portfolios
  • Work closely with TCH Customer Relationship Management in support of EPN relationship and sales visits as well as Puerto Rico portfolio and small financial institutions
  • Work closely with TCH Product Team, IT Development, QC, Operations, Risk Management, Communications & Marketing Team, TCH PA as well as Legal and Administrative Team  in support of EPN
  • Read, speak and write fluent Spanish (preferred)
  • Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available. Travel may be required.
