Position: Vice President, IAM Operations
Reports To: SVP O&T Implementation & Operations Head
Location: Winston-Salem, NC

Position Summary:

The Vice President of Identity & Access Management is responsible for creating and maintaining the identity & access management function along with cryptography and PKI programs. The VP is responsible for establishing the standards for delivering enterprise-wide identity, access, directory and authentication services for employees, vendors and clients with the capability to support cloud and on premise application services. This position will drive to comply with information security policies and meet all relevant compliance requirements. The team is a small team primarily located in North Carolina but will include some remote workforce to ensure PKI compliance. The role will partner with the technology team to drive the reengineering efforts in this space with substantial spend targeted over the next few years. The role will own the RCSA function for IAM and will help to identify and address any potential control gaps. The manager of the function will play a lead role in the management structure of Client Delivery. The role calls for someone that has a wealth of knowledge in the IAM space, is creative and has a proven track record for execution.

Qualifications Required:

  • 5+ years’ experience with designing, executing, and maintaining an Access Management program, preferably in financial services
  • 5+ years’ experience in the PKI/Key Management Space
  • 2+ years’ experience with Active Directory 
  • Must be process driven, detail oriented and organized in both thought and practice 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent active listening skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills 

Qualifications Desired:

  • ITIL 4 Certification
  • CIAM Certification (Certified Identity Access Manager)
  • CISSP Certification (Certified Information Security Systems Professional)
  • Work effectively work with internal and external customers, vendors and employees
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle conflicting priorities
  • Excellent time managements skills
  • Experience with TCH technologies 
  • Applied knowledge of operational processes and industry best practices
  • Applied knowledge of developing/redesigning processes and measuring effectiveness and efficiency 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the strategy for Access Management
  • Ensure full compliance with processes and policies, along with ensuring they are up to date and relevant
  • Prepare reports and metrics specific to the function
  • Ensure RCSA is maintained and testing is executed 
  • Identify opportunities for automation and drive solutions
  • Coach, engage and support the Access Management team

Performance Standards:

  • Performance is evaluated twice per year through a mid-year review and an annual review

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.
