Position: Vice President, Risk & Control Client Delivery
Reports To: SVP, Operations & Implementations Head
Location: New York, NY

Position Summary:

This role will be part of the senior management team for Client Delivery. The role will lead all in-business risk & control initiatives. This includes but not limited to: continuous enhancement of the RCSA process, strengthening the core controls within the first line of defense. Help improve the training that is focused on the risk and control environment, help to connect the dots for our people. Raise the awareness and help to drive ownership and accountability for the risk & control in business functions. Challenge the procedures and processes, help to create and drive policies applicable to the functions in Client Delivery. Help to drive the in business risk & control culture across the broader O&T department. Be the face to our internal audit team. In addition, this role will be the face to the regulators for all TCH engagements.

Qualifications Required:

  • 15+ years financial industry experience focused on the payment space
  • University degree in Business Administration, Finance or similar field
  • Proven experience leading diverse teams
  • 10+ years of operations and or operational controls experience
  • Strong collaboration and ability to build relationships
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills
  • Ability to identify control weaknesses in an operational or service environment
  • Knowledge of banking regulations
  • Demonstrated success on driving controls-related projects

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Client Delivery on all aspects of in-business risk and control
  • Create, Build and help drive the RCSA implementation and then focus on governance and continuous improvement
  • Be the central repository and liaison for all regulatory engagement for Client Delivery and more broadly the organization
  • Ensure appropriate KRI’s are in place across the department
  • Analyze metrics and financial data, help identify areas of improvement and collaborate on the enhancement efforts with the focus on reducing risk
  • Monitor, track and manage SII’s and corrective action plans
  • Evaluate the organizational control environment
  • Act as a sounding board for the client delivery leadership team on risk & controls
  • Perform independent process reviews
  • Serve as a mentor and a coach for employees across the organization
  • Actively support company-wide talent, community and diversity efforts

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.
