Vice President, Strategy & Execution Client Delivery

Position: Vice President, Strategy & Execution Client Delivery
Reports To: SVP, Client Delivery
Location: Winston-Salem, NC

Position Summary:

This role will be part of the senior management team for Client Delivery.  The role will help lead all people-related initiatives including but not limited to: creation of career paths within the functions, help shape succession plans, improve the operational effectiveness and engagement of the organization and lead operational project management teams.  Track and monitor progress in the people space. Help to build the structure and tools to support the growth of the organization. Senior project owner for Client Delivery projects, Knowledge Management ownership and centralization of billing processes. Be a potential successor for leadership roles across O&T.

Qualifications Required:

  • 15+ years financial industry experience in chief of staff, program management and/or operations senior management roles
  • University degree in Business Administration, Finance or similar field
  • Proven experience leading diverse teams
  • Project and program management experience
  • Strategic thinking with proven ability to execute
  • Strong collaboration and ability to build relationships
  • Commitment to organizational development and employee engagement
  • Versatility across the full range of operational, financial and functional aspects of a large operation
  • Demonstrated experience maintaining a pristine risk and control environment

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee strategic business initiatives
  • Own the Client Delivery project management team
  • Liaise with senior management and key stakeholders on status updates, decision making and problem resolution
  • Analyze metrics and financial data, help identify areas of improvement and collaborate on the enhancement efforts
  • Lead lean initiatives for the functions
  • Solicit employee and HR feedback, identify programs and lead initiatives to improve employee engagement
  • Evaluate the organizational challenges and identify leadership and development, training and talent strategies to support business growth
  • Act as a sounding board for the Client Delivery leadership team
  • Manage operations reporting/presentation management in support of the Implementations & Operations Head
  • Partner with HR, Technology and other partners to further the key business strategies
  • Centralize Billing and Knowledge management functions
  • Serve as a mentor and a coach for employees across the organization
  • Actively support company-wide talent, community and diversity efforts

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.
